Here, some of our most respected colleagues will help us cut through the clutter by sharing their real world experiences and thoughtful insights about managing virtual teams. And in the process, I'll share a few editorials of my own.
Admittedly, I use the word "virtual" with some reluctance. It is an industry word, but a misleading reflection of the very "realness" of it all. Virtual teams are about real people collectively making one of the biggest real impacts in the history of our modern world… affecting our travel, economy, innovation, lifestyles and much more.
At the time of this writing, I've been in the virtual teams business for 13 years and climbing. Whereas my focus began with technology, it expanded into wonderful friendships with talented people in far reaching regions of the world.
